Coding in the artistic practice ::: Register till October 15 ::: zur deutschen Fassung :::
This October, Cheers for Fears is organising a workshop for artists, cultural workers and creatives who want to use programming in their artistic practice.
The two-part workshop will start with a general understanding of the entire field of coding and demystify the giants of terms such as coding, algorithms or AI, and break down possible fears.
After that, it’s hands on. Using the programming language Java Script and paper.js, small images or visuals are created. The only thing you need is your laptop and a browser.
The workshop is free of charge and no previous knowledge is necessary.
Bleeptrack wil be leading the workshop. She is a creative technologist, artist and researcher specialising in generative and AI art. Her work is based on her own generative algorithms. Besides her artistic work, she is doing a PhD on Machine Learning and Computational Creativity at the University of Ulm.
